Here are a few of the costumes/poses we drew last night. One of the more interesting elements was the lighting, a hot spotlight aimed directly at the model, which threw sharp shadows and gave the scenes a Weegee kind of ambience. Appropriate for the subject matter. This was a whole lot of fun, and I encourage any artists in the Hampton Roads area to check it out. As well as our regular Tuesday-night figure drawing group, of course. You might even get to hear the male-model story in all its glory.
