HANDY DRAWING TIP

Sometimes inspiration doesn't come. You're drawing a blank. Ha ha I get it. At times like this, it always helps to draw a tank. No, you don't have to be a pimply teenage boy, it works for all walks of life. It just can't help but lift your spirits to draw a tank. Much more reliable than unicorns, if you ask me. Part of its appeal is the word 'tank'. It's so blunt and rudimentary. And it has pleasingly balanced elements: the writhing mass of wheels, gears and tracks and the delicate gun barrel extending from it with the lump at the end. And forget the phallic symbol cracks. Sometimes a tank is just a tank.  Also, it can reduce things to rubble. So go ahead, indulge yourself. Draw a tank. You too, Laura. Larger here.
