This just about wraps up my Blowfish Period. I hope my biographer is taking notes, for a change. The CD Release Party and Art Show was a great success. I sold the original of this piece for $2.73, just to cover time spent and cost of materials. The joke, of course, is that the real original consists of a bunch of electrical pulses stored on a chip somewhere in the innards of my iMac. I can churn out prints till the cows come home, and at $2.73 a pop, I can live off the fat of the land, although who would want to do that, am I right? At the moment, the fat of the land is cold and white and about 3” deep. I barely made it across the street to Café Stella for my morning coffee. Next time I’ll get dressed and put on shoes.
